This weekend we had the pleasure of meeting Uno (T. Double or Nothing) again after more than a year since he moved to Finland!

And boy were we happy with his development!
He was travelling with his owner Jenni to Nordic Dog Show in Gimo (SWE) and then to the Norwegian Lagotto Speciality Show, for how should he else make his debut? He is double or nothing after all..!!
He got excellent both days, but sunday was surely the fun-day this weekend!
Uno won a big junior class with 8 males and on top of that he ended up as 3rd best male with R-CAC!! Judge: Rosa Agostini, Italy.

We took the chance to meet Uno in Gimo of course, how could we not?
But the proud breeders stayed home from Norway, as we are waiting for some new TufflaZ-babies soon!
But in Gimo we had the pleasure of showing a breeders group with four different combinations, from litters A to D 🙂

So to sum it up; a very happy weekend!! And now we just keep our fingers crossed for this lovely lady and what’s to come <3

This time of year there is usually a calm period between show seasons. The dogs get to rock a sporting cut, very comfortable for us as well since the snow is very unkind to a Lagotto’s coat.

The same has been true this year, except for our young starlet Zäta (T. Crazy Daisy). She has been out picking points for her championship titles; she turned 2 years old in October. She has been to 5 shows so far 2019 and the results have been great:
1 x BOB
1 x CACIB
2 x CAC
2 x R-CAC

When she was BOB in Denmark at IDS Fredericia we thought judge Jo Schepers captured her perfectly:
“2 years, very typical bitch, good propportions, beautiful head, dark eyes, very good expression, good bite, very good topline, very good tailset, very good coat and curls, easy mover, lot of temperament, very typical for the breed.”

What are we most proud of? The comment “lot of temperament”, we love her always-confident way and her constantly wagging tail. We look forward to the rest of 2019, after a short and very well deserved break for her now.

We have also gotten two new health results in so far this year:
T. Cherry Blossom “Coco” eyes – CLEAR
T. Buon Baciatore “Caztor” eyes – CLEAR

It has been a good year so far, let’s hope it continues all the way!

Ännu ett år att lägga till handlingarna. Det blev inte riktigt som vi hade tänkt oss. Vi slutade förra året med att se fram emot ett år med två nya kullar, BPH med C-kullen och utställningsresor inom och utanför landet.

De två kullarna resulterade i en enda valp. Men inte vilken valp som helst – TufflaZ Double or Nothing ”Uno”. Han är efter Gleska Good Luck och TufflaZ Amorosa.  Men vi kan lova att han är inte vilken valp som helst, han växer och utvecklas i det hem vi valde åt honom i Finland. Vi ser fram emot att se mer av honom under 2019.

Under året har våra egna hundar satsat på sina utställningskarriärer utomlands. Vilket har resulterat i mycket bra resultat framförallt för Caztor och Zäta!

Nu ser vi fram emot 2019 och hoppas på ett ytterligare framgångsrikt år i ringarna, och förhoppningsvis med en valpkull eller två! Måste vi välja så väljer vi gärna det senare. God fortsättning önskar vi er alla!

Det är sällan enbart guld och gröna skogar att ha en hobby som involverar levande djur. Vi måste med tunga hjärtan meddela att det blir ingen valpkull hos oss nu som väntat. Ztella har förlorat de 6 valpar som växte i hennes mage. Vi är tacksamma och glada att Ztella mår bra och vi väljer att blicka framåt.
