Dixon var en glad och framåt kille som vi valde att behålla från vår A-kull, han bodde hos fodervärd tills han var 6 månader gammal men återvände sen hem till kenneln på heltid.
Dixon gav oss verkligen stor glädje inte bara genom sitt mysiga sätt utan även i utställningsringen under sitt första år. Han gjorde bedriften att bli BIS-valp både på rasspecialen (Radunon) och samma helg på internationell utställning i Köping, han blev därmed kvalificerad att tävla om Puppy of the Year på grand hotell i Stockholm våren 2014. Sedan han blivit junior fick han CK både i Sverige och Norge samt erövrade sin första titel som Norsk juniorvinnare 2013 (NO JV-13).
Under sitt andra levnadsår ställdes Dixon ut 9 gånger i Sverige med 8 excellent, 3 CK, 3 placeringar i bästa hanklass, 2 reserv-cert och ett CERT. Han ställdes även ut i Norge en gång och fick då norskt CERT, CACIB och blev BIM. Utöver detta gjorde han ett fantastiskt BPH utan kvarstående rädslor, med stor social förmåga och helt skottfast.
Tyvärr så fick denna saga inte ett lyckligt slut. Under hösten 2014 började Dixon röra sig konstigt samtidigt som han visade aggressivitet mot främmande hundar. Det visade sig vid veterinärbesök att han i ung ålder skadat sin rygg och detta hade orsakat pålagringar på flera kotor i ländryggen. Då han uppenbarligen mådde dåligt av detta och vi inte ville utsätta honom för ett smärtsamt liv med operationer och medicinering så tog vi det tunga beslutet att denna unga vackra (på både in- och utsida) hund skulle få vandra över regnbågsbron. Livet är orättvist.
R.I.P underbara älskade Dixon, vi glömmer dig aldrig.

Dixon was a happy and confident dog. We owned him his entire life but for the first six months he lived with another family while we had the show and breeding rights. After these six months he returned home full time.
He did very well in the show rings during his short life. He was BIS-puppy at the Swedish Raduno and at IDS Köping the same weekend. He was qualfied to compete for Puppy of the Year at the Grand hotel in Stockholm. As a junior he got CQ in Sweden as well as in Norway, he also gained his first title Norweigan junior winner 2013.
When he got a bit older he got CAC’s and CACIB, was BOS at IDS Drammen. He also did a mental description (BPH), where he showed no remaining fears, big social skills and he was totally confident with shots.
Unfortunately this fairytale did not end happily ever after. During the fall 2014 Dixon started to move a bit off and showed aggression towards other dogs. The visit at the vets showed that he had hurt his back at a young age and it had gotten worse and worse over time. When he was so obviously in a great deal of pain and we didn’t wish a life of operations and constant medication for him, we made the hard decision to have him put down. Life is very unfair and cruel at times.
